KSFO this morning, the departures off the "01s" were getting off with out any problems. The arrivals to the "28s" were going missed with CatII. Apparently a scud layer just off the end of the "28s".

A point of clarification for those who don't go into KSFO. The normal traffic flow is the departure off the "01s" and arrivals on the "28s"

Was coming back from Sidney into SFO. We went missed. United 747. As we went missed, I looked out and could not see the INBOARD engine.

We went to San Jose, landed, waited, flew up to SFO about an hour later.

I've joked before that they should build four to six parallel runways in the middle of the bay with taxiways to SFO and OAK.
