  • "Mass-produced" flying car

Created by Slovakia-based developer Klein Vision, the AirCar is set to be the world's first mass-produced flying car after completing more than 170 flight hours

"Mass-produced" - to quote Inigo Montoya, "You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."

I think this will be more of a "home hanger" airplane than a practical car that can fly.

But the same can be said for many of them.

On the road side, no mention of handling, crashworthiness, 0-60 time, fuel economy, etc. Also no mention of whether driven wheels or road drive by propeller. NHTSA would have horripilations about a propeller around pedestrians, even if somewhat enclosed by folded wings and tail booms.
Geology rocks, but geography is where it's at.
