      I always find it interesting that folks always talk about the fixed wing guys in Vietnam. The 48th rolled our fleet three times in six weeks in Laos. Guess that don't count.

        You aren't totally forgotten Bill... I found this on another board:
        ...let's no forget the Army helicopter pilots….back in the day I routinely put my life and those of my soldiers in their hands without hesitation...their skill and courage are remarkable

          Bill: I don't think that's the case at all. Several books have been written about us helo folks. This fellas just wrote about other folks that also laid it all on the line.
