Chuckle, not "serious" racing! Plain ole Bell P-63 King Cobra with an Allison engine, I flew it a lot when Jack Sandberg had it ("Tipsy Miss") up at Crystal's airport. I think now meb'be it's named "Pretty Polly". Come to think of it, I'd taken it to Reno for ramp display many years ago.

Chuckle, reminded me about "days long gone by". Now that I think about it or remember, Polly was Bob's grandaughter? First one of those P-63 "milkstools" I ever flew was the one we had down at Mercedes/Harlingen, called it "Tumbleweed". "Tipsy Miss" was race #28 at Reno, as I'd said, "NOT serious racing". As a matter of fact, I think they wrote a song about it and me, called it "Beedlebaum".
