"Call me Meyer"

On this date in 1943, the RAF bombed Berlin. It was timed to Hermann Göring's tribute to Hitler's tenth anniversary in power. Göring had boasted publicly that if the allies ever bombed Berlin, "You can call me Meyer."

Geology rocks, but geography is where it's at.

Yabbut the RAF first bombed Berlin in August of 1940.
