  • Andy Niemyer on the EA-3B

(I put this in Aviation History to goad Andy.....)

There's a new YouTube series, the first episode is posted of Andy Niemyer talking about this time with the EA-3B in the Navy. Admiral Andy (thanks, Rnady!) gives a good presentation, more episodes to come. The first, here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VT6x2iJMzgQ

Thank you, both. The second part of my Whale years drops on this Sunday. We talked about the Intruder and its capabilities earlier this week. Those eps should drop in a few weeks.

I'll remember to set them up here, for sure.

Andy, I think you're the only other AVROC I've run into. It was the best program ever. We (my brother and I) went to AOCS. There's nothing like going out the Main Gate for home just as your class is starting the Cross Country course. Of course there's nothing like coming back to P-cola humidity to start the Cross Country course after a year off!

Bruce, I'm ever rarer: a ROC. I went to NAVOCS at Newport over those two summers and then to NASNI for 18 months before going to Pensacola. The only time we saw Marines was every Friday for Pass In Review when they came over and graded each Company's marching.
