  • First successful flight

"115 years ago today Orville and Wilbur Wright made the first successful flight in history, staying aloft 12 seconds and traveling 120 feet." USA Today. Note: Orville piloted the gasoline-powered, propeller-driven biplane near Kitty Hawk, NC.

My, oh my, what a long way we have come since then!
