  • Drone delivery gets high marks from consumers

ZDNet: Staggering approval for Alphabet drone among early customers

Nearly 90% of those surveyed say they support drone delivery. This is particularly significant because it marks a massive increase over prior national and international surveys, which have generally found support around 50%. In those surveys respondents were asked about drone delivery in a vacuum, without the benefit of experiencing it first hand. But the residents in Christiansburg have had the opportunity to experience drone delivery for a protracted period of time, and it turns out that makes a big difference in consumer sentiment.
Not sure how close this is to the seat of power in Washington DC, but it has to be a lot closer then Bumf**k, Iowa.

I guess I’d have to see it to believe it. Interesting.

While not the focus of the article, my personal spin is that if so many like it, it's going to be a powerful political force to "make it happen". Any culture of "no" is likely to be swept aside.
