An interesting way to rate security. He's just measuring what happens if you try to download malware. I'm generally more concerned about vulnerabilities where a malicious actor can do things like triggering the download without my consent, or stealing credentials. Not all malicious software for Windows are exes. There's PowerShell scripts and even fileless malware that only resides in memory.
However, it's likely much harder to come up with a test for that.

Chromium is the open source version of Google's Chrome. Being open source, I'm sure others are able to strip out any "Googleness". They've certainly modified it to use different lists for bad URLs which is why Edge gets a different test result than Chrome, even if the underlying rendering engine is the same.Originally posted by Ray Tackett View PostDunno why they bothered with Edge.
