Where's the "Like" button?

When I look at a list of topics I see a "Like" counter for each topic. How do I indicate my pleasure with a topic or post?

What's odd is that the "like" button on Tom's post is not active for me. It's there, the "quote" button is active, but not the "like" button. And there's no "like" button on your post.

Well, let's call this period Beta 2.0. "Like" was hiding from AVSIG member permissions thanks to another obscure setting. Fixed, now ... and I'll keep a profile open in that permission set to troubleshoot other issues from a non-magical realm ...

This morning I removed the option so I can tinker with vB's reputation system. There's more than a little preoccupation with the negative rep bars that are showing up on member profiles ... and the more I look under the hood the more I realize the programmers spent *way* too much time on this "feature."
