Is the best way to post pictures to do it like I did in my "Mother Rucker" post or make it a larger picture like my "KSLC" picture. I do like the idea of a smaller picture where the reader can click on the picture and a larger and better quality picture appears like in "Mother Rucker".

If it's a full-resolution, pore-baring picture of your mug, by all means, post the large picture . Otherwise the smaller link picture does reduce load time on the thread.
