    I believe you are correct Randy. Some say the Boeing 727 was the DC-3 of the Jet age. I always thought they had a
    rather smug look when they dominated the ramp at LAX. Especially the stretch jobs ...

        And I can still recall the very first time that I saw one, it was on a Boeing Co. demo tour of South America at LaPaz's El Alto airport, would've been in 1964, a "stubbie" (dash 100). Yellow & brown.
